Yesterday the FDA announced another dog (and cat) food recall, this time from a family-owned company called Midwestern Pet Foods, Inc that has been making dog food since the 1920s. I’ve never heard of it but it looks like their dog food called Sportmix is very popular in tractor supply stores.
Nine varieties of this food have been recalled so please make sure you don’t have any. Several dogs have died from eating it and lots more are sick. As this is so new more cases will undoubtedly come to light.
